An unusual year came to an end. Serinus looks back and first and foremost notes that the cooperation with partners and customers was decisive for a successful year 2020. Not a matter of course, as the current situation presents the entire society with challenges…
So how did the company of the yellow canary?
The alarm, information and crisis management system of Serinus was in demand in a lot of sectors last year. Alarm and security topics daily matter to branches like industry, public service and education, service as well as healthcare. Especially in the healthcare sector Serinus was able to achieve considerable success. Accordingly, there was a growth of 120% compared to the previous year 2019. Clinics, nursing homes and residential facilities rely on Serinus solutions in a wide variety of ways. The three largest nursing home operators in Germany have equipped dozens of facilities with Serinus. Not least the hybrid approach was decisive for the success. Serinus Hybrid allows a central administration, a data backup and monitoring of all local alarm media gateways. Besides the integration of subsystems, such as fire alarm systems, light call and disorientation systems in connection with a local or cloud-based telephone system, the use of the app also played an important role.
Last year, Serinus als won major projects in the sector industry. There the platform is often used as an event and information system. Processes can be monitored and controlled. If unexpected events such as malfunctions or damage occur, measures can be initiated by a multimedia information distribution. Information via interfaces such as e-mail-in, OPC, SNMP, BacNet, KNX, etc. can be integrated just as IoT devices via public and private IoT networks. In addition, the app-based and standard-compliant lone working security was utilized. With that said the customers received an all-in-one solution to cover all requirements. A performance that made for growth of 220%. The growth numbers of Public & Education (up 302%) and Services (up 40%) round off an rising Serinus year.
All the successful business deals are also due to the steady development of Serinus products. Every day, our international team of developers is working on innovative and reliable solutions. As a result, our customers describe Serinus as a “great, visually appealing and intuitive product”. Both the Serinus Cloud and the Serinus Alarm-Mediagateway have been further developed and provide in their current versions a variety of new a multitude of innovations (e.g. vital call, geo-based alerting, dynamic alert groups based on location).
